CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSEES
Crystal Vision Home Inspections, LLC is Licensed
As of September 2015, ALL Home Inspectors in Kentucky are REQUIRED to be licensed. State and Federal (KSP/FBI) background checks must be completed prior to being licensed (as well as renewed). You can rest assured that your inspector has been thoroughly vetted and screened for trustworthiness. You can personally verify licensing on the KY Board of Home Inspectors website here: (Our license number is: 242002)
A word of caution: SOME “home inspectors” will tell you that they are ‘exempt’ or ‘grandfathered’ from this requirement. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY FALSE. There was a short period (2013-2015) where current inspectors could continue to operate, but must fulfill the state’s licensing requirements. There are unscrupulous 'inspectors' who have not attained licensing but continue to operate. You can find the Kentucky Board of Home Inspections reference on this topic here: http://www.lrc.ky.gov/Statutes/statute.aspx?id=46059
Regardless whether you choose Crystal Vision Home Inspections, LLC or not, we encourage you to validate your inspector’s license validity.
